Parent & Educator Support

Our goal is to foster each child’s unique development and support families as they navigate new stages; from initial concerns to first words, trying new activities or eating out with family, and everything in between. As a person who experienced all the stages of cleft care (birth to my last surgery at 33!), I understand that family is the most important factor in successful outcomes. We don’t want caregivers in the waiting room next door; we want them actively participating in sessions to learn ways to use everyday activities to support their child’s development. While cotreating in public education together, we learned that growth often comes from having multiple views and collaborating - 2, 3, 4 brains working together are always better than one.
Support may look like direct therapy…it can also look like reviewing and attending IEP meetings to help navigate the school system…going to a restaurant during quiet hours to practice family outings…in home support to develop personalized visuals to help with daily routines…attend t-ball practice to model different ways to provide directions and support inclusion…or maybe it’s something so unique to your family we haven’t even tried it yet, just ask, let’s see how we can move forward with you.
We understand life is so busy these days, especially if you’re navigating the world of special needs, multiple kids, taking care of aging parents, and honestly just regular life. There can always be seasons; months of consistent sessions and targeted goals, down time of text message updates and cheering you on from afar. Therapy schedules shouldn’t control your life; therapy should positively impact your real, daily life. We built this practice to be flexible, for you & for us, because we believe a work/life balance is in the best interest of everyone.
In keeping with our mission of family balance, we too may be out for vacations and other events life presents. During some of those travel blocks, we can partner side-by-side to maintain care and keep up with virtual appointments or check-ins, we can also take an opportunity to pause, reset, and allow you to enjoy the progress so far and report back at our next reunion. Always forward, always adapting. Adelante Contigo.
Every Kidz Corner is not just about play. It is about normalizing conversations around differences. Many families raising children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other developmental differences feel isolated or misunderstood.
Our goal is to bridge that gap by creating a space where:
• Kids learn early that different is not bad, it is just different.
• Parents can meet, share resources, and feel supported.
• Inclusion and empathy grow naturally through shared play experiences.
By doing this, we hope to shape a more understanding, accepting, and connected community for all children.
